Nancy Lakier and Denis Sullivan, nationally respected authorities in consulting for the healthcare industry, recognized the critical need for leadership in hospitals and have specifically co-founded Novia Solutions to reliably fulfill critical interim positions with competent interim management leaders.

Nancy Lakier, BSN, MBA

Nancy Lakier has 30 years of experience in hospital operations, leadership and consultation. She is recognized for her expertise in leadership both within hospital administration and in professional organizations. Nancy has frequently received recognition for her ability to identify leadership skills in others and in mentor others.

Nancy’s areas of operational expertise is in health care operations and leadership, clinical and operational redesign, quality and financial improvement and system integration. In 1995, she founded InnoVia Health, a healthcare consulting organization of clinical and operations experts providing strategies to advance clinical practice and reduce the cost of delivering care. She later merged her consulting company with Sullivan and Associates to create the Sullivan Lakier Group, an organization providing operational and productivity consulting services to hospitals. Sullivan Lakier Group is a sister company to Novia Solutions.

Prior to founding her consulting organizations, Nancy was the Associate Administrator for Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA., and Operations Strategist for ScrippsHealth. Prior to joining Scripps, Nancy held executive leadership positions at San Bernardino Community Hospital in California; Fort Hamilton-Hughes Memorial Hospital in Hamilton (Cincinnati), Ohio; and Children’s Memorial Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Denis Sullivan

Denis Sullivan has been providing management consulting services to hospitals, group practices, and integrated delivery systems since 1985. During that time he has gained an in depth understanding of the operations of virtually all hospital departments and processes. This base of knowledge enables him to understand the skills required to manage all hospital divisions and functions. He and his consulting firm, Sullivan and Associates, have enjoyed a national reputation for work in the areas of hospital turnarounds, productivity improvement, and cost reduction programs.

Denis eventually merged his firm with Nancy Lakier’s Innovia Health to form the Sullivan Lakier Group. The Sullivan Lakier Group, the sister company to Novia Solutions, is a consulting firm dedicated to bridging the gap between Finance and Patient Care.
