Mission Command to Healthcare

Last week, a hospital in Florida announced it would be joining the ranks of several other industry leaders as they incorporate command centers equipped with artificial intelligence into their operations. The integration of AI into these command centers allows hospitals to apply algorithms to their existing technology systems in order to better coordinate patient care throughout the organization. Specifically, the aim of these command centers is to proactively address patient bottlenecks and make both patient care and staffing decisions more effectively. In doing so, hospitals anticipate that caregivers will be able to spend more quality time with patients as a result of having AI to assist with effect care planning and decision making.
