The System Director of Case Management provides leadership and direct oversight for Case Management, Utilization Management, Care Coordination, Discharge Planning, Denials Management, Social Services and Transitions of Care for a multi-site health system. Coordinates/manages patient centered care activities for patients, maintains a collaborative relationship with the medical and nursing staff, focuses on reducing length of stay and achieving a high volume of discharges per day to maintain bed capacity. The System Director of Case Management must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required with a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred, Alabama RN or multistate compact nursing license required; 5 years of leadership experience overseeing case management or care coordination for a large hospital and multi-site leadership experience within a health system required; Case Management Certification (CCM) strongly preferred.
