ABOUT NOVIA SOLUTIONS
Novia Solutions began in the early 2000’s when Nancy Lakier, MBA, RN, a former Chief Nurse Executive Officer in both adult and children’s hospitals, realized that critical gaps in hospital leadership was adversely affecting hospitals’ ability to achieve strategic goals and objectives. By placing extremely well-matched talent on an interim basis to close these key leadership gaps, hospitals would be positioned to succeed with initiatives such as cost reduction and improved performance which could lead to increased quality and patient outcomes. The benefits to hospitals became clear:
- Minimal gaps in leadership positions = stronger future for hospitals
And Novia Solutions was born.

“My experience with Novia was more personalized. It was more geared toward the candidate than I have seen with other companies. The other companies I feel like just kind of take a handful of candidates and throw them at a job and hope one sticks. But Novia really took the time to look at my skillset/ find out what I was looking for and match that with an interim assignment.”
